Adidas Adilette 22 Slide Alumina Oat

Released on 24 November 2024 and part of the Adilette 22 line. This release has a synthetic upper in Alumina/Oat/Off White. Alumina Oat is the Adilette 22 in full neutral, a warm greyish beige that runs across the entire slide with no contrast band and no colour break. That flatness is the point. The 22 is a sculpted, one piece rethink of the oldest continuous product idea adidas has, and a tonal earth colour lets you read the geology of the shape: the ridged deck, the raised sidewalls, the Three Stripes cut into the strap instead of laid over it. Those stripes are the mark adidas bought from Karhu Sports in 1952 rather than invented, and Adi Dassler spent the rest of his life calling the company the three stripes company.
