Air Jordan 4 RETRO Red Thunder

Red Thunder inverts the logic of the black and yellow Thunder colourway, keeping the dark upper and swapping the accent to a deep crimson so the shoe reads hotter and less like signage. The 4 sits in the stretch of the line Tinker Hatfield shaped after taking over from the Air Jordan 3, when the series developed hardware that could be recognised across models: the Jumpman on the tongue, elephant print, exposed structure. Red as an accent has been part of the brand's colour identity since the Chicago era, alongside black and white. On the 4 it picks out the eyelets and midsole edge, giving a shoe with a lot of surface a set of lines to follow.
