Air Jordan 5 RETRO Shattered Backboard

Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released on 2 October 2021 as part of the Air Jordan 5 line. This release has a leather upper in Sail/Orange Blaze/Metallic Silver/Black. Shattered Backboard is one of the most repeated names in Jordan collecting, and it belongs to the Air Jordan 5, a Tinker Hatfield era model from the run where the line had already become a design series rather than a basketball release schedule. The palette is black and a hot orange, a combination the 5 wears better than almost any other model because its angular midsole and lace toggle break the shoe into clear zones the colour can occupy. Where the Chicago red, black and white palette speaks to the team years, this one belongs entirely to the collector era, a colourway known by its nickname long before anybody checks the style code.
