Roam is the slide for people who are actually going somewhere in it, and Cool Grey is the shade that lets it pass anywhere. Where the archive models carry decades of story, this one belongs to the modern Jordan Brand, the Nike division set up in 1997 with its own apparel and accessories programme. That reorganisation is why the Jumpman turns up on recovery footwear at all. Cool Grey is the coldest of the brand's greys, a blue leaning neutral that sits closer to concrete than to stone, and it deliberately avoids the red, black and white signalling that the court shoes trade on.
