A hybrid lifting and conditioning shoe is aimed at exactly the person Nike has spoken to since 1988, someone doing the work for themselves.

The design does two jobs in one shoe. The heel is wide, firm and low so it does not compress under load, which is what a lifting shoe has to get right, and the forefoot is cut and grooved for flexibility so you can run, jump and change direction in the same session. The upper is built to resist rope abrasion and lateral pressure at the same time, and its lockdown comes from tension across the midfoot rather than from stacked layers, the principle Nike proved with Flywire. Green Strike accents make the flex zones and support structures easy to see. In wear, expect a shoe that feels firm and grounded rather than cushioned, which is exactly right for training and wrong for road mileage.
