Hoka Bondi 7 Black

Part of Hoka's Bondi 7 line. This release has a mesh upper in Black/Black. Bondi 7 is a generation people still hunt for, which is unusual in running, where the newest number normally wins. It is the version where Hoka's deepest cushioned road shoe had fully matured but had not yet been redrawn for the fashion audience, so the silhouette is honest, broad and unapologetically maximal. That shape traces directly to 2009 in Annecy, where two ex-Salomon trail runners built an oversized outsole to make downhill running faster. In Black, style code 1110518 BBLC, the whole shoe collapses into one mass, and the flared sidewall stops looking like a technical feature and starts looking like a design decision.
