Released on 14 June 2024 and part of the FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4 line. This release has a fantomfit upper in Cyber Jade/White/Black. The fourth generation SuperComp Elite continues the most competitive project New Balance runs. This is a brand that spent decades being described as sensible, the maker of grey suburban running shoes, while quietly keeping a serious performance programme alive. The SuperComp Elite is where that programme is loudest. Cyber Jade is a green with a synthetic edge to it, closer to a screen colour than to anything found outdoors, and it signals exactly what the shoe is: modern racing kit rather than heritage running. New Balance has always sold fit and support first, from arch supports in 1906 to width fittings on the Trackster in 1960, and even at the racing end that logic holds. A race shoe that does not lock a foot down is useless.
