Part of Nike's Air Max Torch 4 line. This release has the Cool Grey/White-Black-Pure Platinum colourway. The Air Max Torch line is where Nike's running engineering met its mass market: a training and running shoe built to be worn constantly rather than raced in, carrying the technology that defined the brand. Nike Air, a pressurised gas unit sealed into the midsole, arrived visibly in the Air Max of 1987 and turned cushioning into something you could point at, and the Torch family inherited that logic in a cheaper, harder wearing package.
