Nike Downshifter 13 Black Smoke Grey Cyber

The Downshifter is Nike's entry point into running, the shoe bought by people starting out, by people who need something for the treadmill twice a week, and by everyone who wants a cushioned trainer without paying for a race day sole. Its thirteenth version in black with smoke grey and cyber accents is built for exactly that: dark enough for daily abuse, with a citrus green flash to remind you it is a running shoe. Nike's whole existence traces to this end of the sport. Bill Bowerman coached track at Oregon and started Blue Ribbon Sports with Phil Knight in 1964 because he thought runners deserved lighter, better shoes, and the company has never stopped selling to the ordinary runner.
