Nike SB Dunk Low Supreme 94 Ocean Fog

Very little in sneaker history is as loaded as an SB Dunk made with Supreme. The 94 reference points back to the original Dunk proportions, before the shoe was rebuilt for skating, and Ocean Fog names a soft, hazy blue that is a long way from the bright team blocking the model started with. Nike SB is the part of the company that lives closest to subculture, and closest to its risks: its 2005 use of Minor Threat album art drew a public rebuke from Ian MacKaye and an apology from Nike. Working with a skate brand that has its own decades of graphic history is the version of that relationship where both sides consented, and it is why these releases carry the weight they do.
