Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Vin White/Directoire Blue

Released on 24 October 2020 and part of the Mexico 66 line. This release has a leather upper in White/Directoire Blue. The VIN designation marks the vintage finished reading of the Mexico 66, where the shoe is built to look like it has already lived a life rather than like it just left the box. White and Directoire Blue is the sharpest colour pairing that treatment comes in: a soft, aged white body with a strong, slightly regal blue running through the crossed Tiger Stripes and the heel. The original 1966 shoe was a flagship built to take on Adidas and Puma before the 1968 Mexico City Games, and a yellowed white with a saturated blue is exactly how a surviving pair from that era would look in a collector's cabinet today.
