Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Yecheil Non-Reflective Sale
Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Yecheil Non-Reflective Sale

Origin
Yecheil in its non reflective form is the daylight version of one of the busiest uppers the 350 V2 ever wore. The model launched on 24 September 2016 as the second generation of the shoe that started in June 2015, and for most of its life it stayed in monochrome earth tones named after terrain. Yecheil abandoned that entirely for a multicolour knit of green, red, blue and cream running through the whole upper. Without the reflective yarn, the pattern simply is what it is at all hours, which some people prefer: no hidden layer, no camera flash trick, just a densely coloured knit on a silhouette that carries no logo anywhere on its exterior.
Utility
This upper is doing enough on its own. Recipe one: black straight leg trousers, a plain black tee and a grey work jacket, so the knit reads like the single piece of colour in a deliberately flat fit. Recipe two: mid wash denim and a cream heavyweight sweatshirt, a daytime combination where the green and red threads look folk rather than loud. Never pair with a printed top or a patterned jacket. Wear a low ankle sock so the knit collar sits against skin as intended. Take your true size; Primeknit relaxes with wear. Clean by hand with cold water and a soft brush, working with the direction of the knit, and dry away from radiators so the Boost midsole keeps its structure.
Influence
The 350 V2 is the shoe that turned the sneaker drop into a mainstream cultural event, and pairs like this were the ones that proved the silhouette could carry pattern as well as neutrals. Around it grew queue culture, bot buying and a resale economy, and the line as a whole became one of the most commercially successful signature partnerships in sneaker history. That run ended on 25 October 2022 when adidas terminated the partnership after antisemitic public remarks by founder Kanye West, with the company stating the comments and actions were unacceptable, hateful and dangerous. The pattern language it left behind still shows up across the market.
Construction
The upper is Primeknit, machine knitted as a single piece with no traditional panels, which is exactly why a pattern this complex can run continuously around the foot. Different yarn colours are worked into the knit itself, so the pattern is structural rather than printed, and it will not crack or flake with flex. The midsole is adidas Boost, expanded TPU pellets that give the model its rebound and its speckled surface, wrapped by a rubber outsole for grip. A heel pull tab does the work of a traditional collar. The non reflective build uses standard yarn throughout, which makes the colours slightly warmer and more matte in daylight than on the reflective version.
