Released on 31 March 2024 and part of Nike's ZoomX Invincible 3 line. This release has a flyknit upper in Sanddrift/Sesame/Light Bone/Concord. Sand Drift Concord is the Invincible 3 dressed for daylight rather than dawn. The lineage behind it runs back to 1964, when Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight started Blue Ribbon Sports selling Japanese running shoes out of the boot of a car at Oregon track meets, convinced American runners deserved something lighter. Bowerman's waffle iron experiment became the sole that launched Nike as a maker rather than an importer. Six decades on, the same pursuit of less weight and more return produced ZoomX, the altered Pebax foam behind the Vaporfly. This colourway pairs a warm sand base with Concord, the deep violet blue Nike has leaned on for decades of memorable pairs, so the shoe carries a heritage accent on a modern silhouette.
