Wmns Air Jordan 1 Low 'ghost'

Designed by Peter Moore and part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in Sail/Ghost/Coconut Milk. Ghost is a pale grey and off white reading of the women's 1 Low, a colourway that removes contrast almost entirely and leaves you with the outline. It is the opposite instinct to the palettes that made the shoe famous, and it works for the same reason those did: the panel structure Peter Moore and Bruce Kilgore built in 1984 is strong enough to carry a shoe with no colour blocking at all. Jordan Brand's women's range is where this kind of tonal work usually appears first, and Ghost is one of the clearest examples of the 1 being treated as a neutral wardrobe shoe rather than a sports reference.
