Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Starfish/ Shattered Backboard

Starfish is the bright orange in the Jordan palette, and paired with black and a light base it produces one of the most recognisable non team colour splits the Air Jordan 1 runs. This is the golf build of the Low, which puts that colourway somewhere it has no history at all. Jordan Brand has been moving outside basketball for years, taking on the Michigan Wolverines football programme as sole equipment provider in 2016 and sponsoring Paris Saint-Germain in 2018, and golf is the most socially conservative arena it has entered. Bringing a loud orange and black Air Jordan 1 onto a course is a deliberate provocation, dressed in the shape everybody already recognises from Peter Moore's 1985 design.
