Designed by Peter Moore and released on 16 April 2023 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in White/Aquatone/Celestial Gold. Aquatone puts the Air Jordan 1 Low in water colours, a soft blue green that sits a long way from the red, black and white the brand built its identity on. That distance is the point. Since Jordan Brand became a standalone Nike division in 1997 it has had room to treat the 1 as a canvas rather than a relic, and the grade school range in particular is where the catalogue takes its colour risks.
