Air Jordan 1 Low OG Starfish

Designed by Peter Moore and released on 26 August 2021 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in Starfish/White/Black. OG on an Air Jordan 1 Low means the shoe is built to the original spec rather than the modern general release one, which shows up in the tongue label, the panel proportions and the shape of the Swoosh. Starfish is the bright orange in the Jordan palette, and against black and a light base it produces a split that carries a long way down a street. The silhouette dates to Peter Moore's design with Bruce Kilgore for the player Nike signed on 26 October 1984 in a six year, 2.5 million dollar deal, roughly three times any other contract in the league. Orange was never part of the Chicago palette, which is exactly why this reads as design rather than heritage.
