Air Jordan 1 RETRO High OG Gs Bordeaux

Designed by Peter Moore and released on 20 November 2021 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in Bordeaux/White/Metallic Silver. Bordeaux is a wine dark red that Jordan Brand uses when it wants richness without the aggression of Chicago red, and on the Retro High OG it lands on the most faithful version of the original shoe. OG in this line means the pattern and proportions follow the 1985 release closely: the high collar, the layered panels, the Wings mark, the shape Peter Moore drew with Bruce Kilgore before anyone knew the line would run for decades. In grade school sizing it becomes the entry point, the pair a younger wearer gets before they know any of the history. Deep red keeps it dressy enough to survive outside sportswear, which is where most of these shoes actually live.
