Air Jordan 1 RETRO High OG Shattered Backboard 3.0

Designed by Peter Moore and released on 26 October 2019 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a patent leather upper in Black/Pale Vanilla-Starfish. Shattered Backboard is the name Jordan Brand gives a black and orange arrangement of the Retro High OG, and the 3.0 marks it as the third entry in that series, which tells you the palette has become a franchise in its own right. That only happens with a shape people already read fluently. The proportions here are the archive ones, the tall padded collar, the wide stitched Swoosh and the Wings logo on the ankle panel, descended from the shoe Peter Moore drew with Bruce Kilgore after Nike signed Michael Jordan in October 1984. Orange is not part of the founding Chicago palette, which is exactly why this series stands out inside the line.
