Hoka Challenger 7 Castlerock/Flame

Released on 8 June 2023 and part of the Challenger ATR 7 line. This release has a mesh upper in Castlerock/Flame. Castlerock with Flame is the grey-and-ember version of Hoka's most flexible shoe, and the pairing is a good summary of what the Challenger is for. Castlerock is the colour of the ground you run on when the weather is bad, Flame is the colour of something that wants to be seen doing it. The model itself descends from the reason the brand exists, an oversized cushioned platform built in Annecy in 2009 so two trail runners could attack descents rather than survive them. Seven versions later it is the pair people buy when their weekly routes refuse to stay on one surface.
