Hoka Mach 6 Gold

Mach is the fast half of Hoka's road range, the model that proves the brand founded on oversized cushion can also build something eager. The sixth version in Gold is a rare tone for a running shoe, warmer than yellow and closer to a metallic than a highlighter, which changes the whole read of the silhouette. Hoka has never been shy about colour: the founders launched in 2009 against an industry moving toward minimal and barefoot style shoes, and loud colour blocking on an exaggerated sidewall was part of how the brand announced its opposition. Gold takes that instinct somewhere more precious. On the flared heel and deep sidewalls it catches light in a way a matte colour never does.
