Air Jordan Jordan 1 Mid Reverse Panda

Designed by Peter Moore and released on 12 December 2023 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in White/Black/White/Black. Reverse Panda flips a black and white arrangement so the tones swap places against the expected layout, and the Air Jordan 1 is one of the few silhouettes where that reads as a design decision rather than a mistake. The reason is the panel structure Peter Moore and Bruce Kilgore built into the shoe in 1984: toe cap, eyestay, quarter and Swoosh are separate pieces, so reversing which piece gets which tone changes the whole read of the shoe without touching its outline. On the Mid, the cut Jordan Brand uses for everyday releases, a two tone reversal is the cleanest possible statement, no colour at all, just the geometry rearranged.
