The 700 V2 is the refinement of the shape that arrived as Wave Runner on 12 August 2017 and made the heavy retro runner mainstream. Where the original wore its panelling like exposed engineering, the V2 smooths the lines and lets the bulk read as one continuous form. Mauve is the colourway that suits that revision best, a dusty purple grey that could have come out of the same naming instinct as Moonrock and Desert Rat, describing a weathered condition rather than a bright colour.
