Culture Note™
Part of Nike's Dunk SB line. This release has a leather upper in White/Black/White/Black. The Dunk began as a college basketball shoe built to match team colors, then found its real audience when skaters picked it off clearance racks through the 1990s for the flat, grippy sole. Nike SB rebuilt it properly for skateboarding in the early 2000s, and the SB Dunk Low Pro has anchored the line ever since. This White Black pair, style code HF3704-100, keeps that whole story legible: white leather, black Swoosh, nothing else asking for attention. It is the SB Dunk stripped back to the two-tone team-colors logic that made the original work, and it arrived as a general release rather than a hyped collab. If you want one SB Dunk that never dates and never fights the rest of your wardrobe, the Nike Dunk Low Pro SB White Black is it.
White and black go with everything, so your job is proportion, not matching. Recipe one: loose raw denim or carpenter pants, a black tee, and a white crew sock pulled just above the ankle so the black Swoosh does the only work. Recipe two: black cargos cuffed once, an oversized grey hoodie, laces swapped to black for a tonal finish that reads sharper at night. On fit, SB Dunks run true to size, but the thick tongue and collar padding eat interior volume, so wide feet should take a half size up. For care, the black suede Swoosh is the weak point: brush it dry, never soak it, and wipe the white leather with a damp cloth and mild soap before stains set.
The SB Dunk pulled skateboarding into the center of sneaker culture, and it did that on the strength of the silhouette rather than any single collaboration. HF3704-100 is a general release, not a limited drop, and that changes how you get to treat it. The loud SB pairs sell out and then sit boxed. A White Black pair gets worn, scuffed, re-laced and worn again, which is what Nike SB engineered the Zoom Air and the padding for in the first place. That is also why the plain colorways hold their place in rotations long after the hyped ones get flipped. If you want to buy an SB Dunk in India without paying a resale premium on a colorway, this is the entry point.
White leather runs the whole upper, overlays and underlays both, flowing straight into a white midsole so the shoe reads clean from every angle. The Swoosh is black suede, the part that scuffs first and the part that ages best. Black carries through the tongue label, heel tab and outsole, contrast that stays graphic instead of busy. Underneath, a Zoom Air unit sits in the sockliner and takes the sting out of hard landings, which is exactly why an SB Dunk feels different from a standard Dunk on concrete all day. The tongue and collar are heavily padded for skate impact protection, so you get lockdown and real ankle cushioning. The rubber outsole grips a board and wet pavement equally well.
