Origin
Released on 2 February 2022 and part of adidas's Forum line. This release has a leather upper in Core Black/Grey Six/Silver Metallic. The Forum comes from adidas basketball, a silhouette built around ankle support and lateral containment before it became a lifestyle staple, and the Low is the cut that took it out of the arena and into daily wear. Black with grey is the plainest way to own it. adidas has been in court footwear since the Superstar arrived in 1969 with its moulded rubber shell toe, worn by a reported 75 percent of NBA players by 1973 and then adopted wholesale by hip hop, and every court shoe the brand reissues carries a piece of that inheritance. In blacked out tones the Forum Low stops referencing basketball at all and simply works as a clean, slightly structured everyday shoe.
