Nike Ja 3 Daybreak

Designed by Benjamin Nethongkome and released on 15 November 2025 as part of the Ja 3 line. This release has a mesh upper in Celestial Gold/Light Wild Mango/Vapor Green/Slate. The Ja line is a modern signature basketball shoe, which at Nike means a product built around one player's game rather than around a category. That model of shoemaking started in 1984, when the company signed Michael Jordan and discovered that a signature line could become a business of its own, and it has run through LeBron James and Kevin Durant since. Daybreak names a colourway after the hour rather than a team, warm light against a dark ground, which is how contemporary signature basketball has drifted away from school and franchise palettes and toward moods. It is a performance shoe first, styled like something you would wear off the floor.
