The stripes are sewn through the panel, a construction habit adidas has kept since acquiring the mark from Karhu Sports in 1952. The gum outsole stays low and flat. Tonal pairs show dirt as a shift in tone rather than as marks, so clean them on a schedule rather than when they look bad.
