Triple white high tops are best worn confidently and kept ruthlessly clean. First: black straight leg jeans with the hem sitting just above the collar so the full height is visible, a plain white tee, and a black jacket for contrast. Second: grey sweatpants with a tapered hem tucked into the collar, an oversized hoodie, the sport fit where the strap is on display. Air Force 1s run about half a size large, so size down half if you are between. Protect the leather before first wear, clean with a mild leather cleaner and a soft cloth, use a midsole eraser rather than bleach, and store away from sun to keep the sole from yellowing.

No Nike model has absorbed more meaning than this one. The template beneath is unchanged from the basketball original, a stitched leather upper with perforated toe panels, a thick midsole containing a sealed Nike Air unit and a pivot circle on the outsole. Nike Air is a pressurised gas chamber inside the foam, giving a dense, planted feel. All white leather is the highest maintenance surface in footwear, and creasing across the toe box begins on the first wear regardless of how carefully you walk.
