Origin
Designed by Peter Moore and released on 20 April 2025 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in White/Rust Pink/Black. The Jordan 1 Mid exists because the 1 outgrew the court. From 1997 the line became Jordan Brand, a standalone division inside Nike with its own athlete roster, apparel and collaborations, and the Mid is the silhouette that division uses to keep the original shape in circulation season after season in colours the 1985 shoe would never have carried. White with rust pink and black is exactly that freedom in practice: the black keeps the panel structure of the original visible, while the rust pink softens the whole thing into something warmer and less literal. It is the 1 speaking in a register the basketball floor never asked for and the street adopted anyway.
Utility
