Origin
Designed by Peter Moore and released on 6 July 2022 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in Crimson Bliss/Rush Orange/Sail/Black. Rush Orange with black is a two colour block, which is how the 1 has always worked best: one strong colour, one anchor, and the panel structure doing the rest. SE marks it as a special edition rather than a straight retro, so the brand has permission to move materials and details around instead of reproducing 1985. The women's Low is where the model is most freely interpreted, because it is not defending an archive spec. Underneath, the shape is still the one Peter Moore drew with Bruce Kilgore, the shoe whose initial 50,000 pairs sold out and which went on to pass 150 million dollars in sales against a projection of three.
Utility
