A certificate needs to be understood by its issuer and scope. A CheckCheck assessment, a Brand Authenticity Certificate and a manufacturer warranty are different documents.
Which document are you looking at?
| Document | What to check | What not to infer |
|---|---|---|
| CheckCheck assessment/certificate | Issuer, supported item, assessment details and matching product evidence | It is not automatically a manufacturer warranty or a service for every category |
| Brand Authenticity Certificate | Named brand and the authorised-retailer statement shown for that label | A retailer authorisation document is not a separate physical inspection report for every unit |
| Manufacturer warranty | Issuer, model, purchase evidence, activation and coverage terms | An authenticity certificate does not create manufacturer warranty eligibility |
Why certificate types differ
Culture Circle displays Brand Authenticity Certificates for selected brands instead of CheckCheck wording. The document shown on the product page should identify its scope. CheckCheck’s own FAQ describes photo-based assessments for supported categories and brands, with outcomes that may include inability to verify. Do not assume that a service supported for a sneaker applies to a perfume, watch or modified item.
What to keep with your order
- Save the product listing, style/model and chosen variant.
- Keep your invoice, packaging, labels and any accompanying certificate.
- Compare the document’s product details with what arrived.
- If details are missing or do not match, keep clear photographs and contact support before discarding packaging.
Getting help
Use your order’s Help Center or Culture Circle support. Share the order number privately, the certificate type, the product details and a clear explanation of the mismatch. Support can investigate which evidence applies to that order. Do not share payment credentials or OTPs. A missing or unclear document deserves investigation; it is not by itself a conclusive authenticity verdict.
