Released on 21 February 2025 and part of the Court Vision line. This release has a leather upper in Grey Fog/White/Black. The Court Vision Low is Nike's everyday basketball inspired shoe, the one that carries the look of the brand's court heritage at a price that puts it on far more feet than any hyped release manages. Grey Fog with white and black is the most wearable version of it: a soft grey base, a clean white structure and black detailing that keeps the whole thing from going bland. This is the part of the catalogue that actually does the work of making a brand normal. Every collaboration and every archive reissue depends on there being a widely owned, unremarkable, well made shoe carrying the same Swoosh through everyday life.
Utility
Grey, white and black is the easiest palette Nike sells, and the shoe rewards being treated as a base layer. Charcoal joggers with a white tee and a black overshirt, or straight leg blue denim with a grey crew neck, and it will disappear into either. It is a strong pick for long days on your feet, travel and gym adjacent wear, less so for anything requiring lateral support. Sizing tends true to size with a slightly generous toe box compared with a Dunk. Clean the white sections weekly, keep it out of prolonged rain, and replace rather than restore once the midsole compresses.
Influence
Nike's Indian story is a lesson in what accessible product is worth. It entered India in 1995 through a licensing agreement with Sierra Industrial Enterprises, now SSIPL, set up its own subsidiary in the mid 2000s, and spent years priced roughly 30 percent above competitors. It reported no net profit from 2006 until the financial year ending 2019, when it posted about 76.7 million rupees on roughly 8.14 billion rupees of revenue, and closed around 200 stores from 2017. Approachable models like this one are the answer to that problem rather than the cause of it.
Construction
A leather look upper over a foam midsole with a rubber outsole, built around the proportions of a basketball shoe rather than the demands of one. It is lighter and softer underfoot than a Dunk, with more give in the collar and less rigidity through the midfoot, which makes it a better standing and walking shoe than a court silhouette and a worse one for anything lateral. Grey Fog is a forgiving colour that hides scuffs far better than white, though the white structural panels will still need regular attention. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, air dry away from heat, and expect the midsole to be the first thing to show age.
