The outsole features a varied tread pattern, meticulously engineered for optimal grip and glide, while minimizing squeaking. The shoe's design, influenced by Roger Federer's foot shape, offers a medium width and a notably wide forefoot, ensuring a tailored fit for competitive play.
The influence of THE ROGER Pro is immediately apparent, spearheaded by the involvement of Roger Federer himself. The debut of THE ROGER Pro in March 2021 was a watershed moment. The shoe has also been seen on court with Ben Shelton. Additionally, Iga Swiatek is known to have worn the shoe, showcasing its appeal to top-tier athletes. Flavio Cobolli and Joao Fonseca have also switched to the ROGER Pro Fire, signifying its growing impact.
The upper is meticulously crafted from engineered mesh, partially composed of recycled polyester, ensuring both breathability and robust support. The design incorporates a midfoot cage, providing a secure lockdown for the foot, coupled with a padded heel for enhanced comfort. Beneath, the shoe features a high-performance foam midsole, complemented by a 100% carbon fiber Speedboard®, delivering exceptional energy return and shock absorption.
