Adidas Superstar White Black

Designed by Horst Dassler and released on 29 May 2014 as part of adidas's Superstar line. This release has the Cloud White/Core Black/Cloud White colourway. White with black is the Superstar's original argument, and the Superstar is the most consequential shoe adidas has ever made. It launched in 1969 as a low top of the Pro Model with a moulded rubber shell toe designed to protect players' feet under the basket, and by 1973 it was reportedly worn by more than 75 percent of NBA players, with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and George Gervin among the early adopters. Then it left the court entirely. In white with black Three Stripes, this is the version that hip hop adopted wholesale, and the one adidas has sold in enormous volume ever since: more than 15 million pairs in 2015 alone, its best selling shoe of that year.
