Released on 1 October 2025 and part of the Jordan Spizike line. This release has the White/Coconut Milk/Black/Varsity Red colourway. The Spizike carries Spike Lee's name because Lee is genuinely part of this brand's origin story: Nike's earliest advertising for the line had him on screen as Mars Blackmon opposite Michael Jordan, and that campaign is one of the main reasons the shoe travelled into film and then into music. The model built around him is openly a composite, borrowing recognisable parts from across the series instead of proposing one new idea. In white, that composite reads differently. Strip the colour contrast out and you notice the panel shapes and seam placement rather than the references, which turns a patchwork shoe into something almost architectural. Low cut and sized for grade school, it is the cleanest way this model comes.
All white wants a clean, summery build around it. Cream linen trousers, a white tee and a light overshirt keeps the whole fit tonal and lets the panel seams do the detail work. For contrast, navy shorts and a striped tee makes the shoe the brightest object without fighting it. Keep socks white and low. Care is the real commitment: brush the napped sections dry with a suede brush, use mild soap and a soft white cloth on the smooth panels, and treat the midsole separately with a magic sponge. Apply protector before the first wear, avoid wet pavements entirely, and clean marks the same day, because white composite uppers set stains quickly.
Spike Lee is listed in this brand's history as a director and on screen character in its earliest advertising, and that is a rare kind of credit: not an endorsement, but authorship. The campaigns he made helped push Jordans out of sport and into the culture where 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Ice Cube and Jay-Z would reference them, which in turn built the collecting market that has been valued at roughly 2 billion dollars. A model that stitches the archive together and names it after him is the brand acknowledging that its own mythology was partly directed rather than purely played.
A mixed panel upper is the whole point of this shoe: different shapes, different textures, different edge treatments, assembled into one silhouette. Executed in white, those joins become the only visual information, so the build has nowhere to hide and the seam quality shows. The low cut drops the ankle collar, so the fit is held by lacing and panel wrap alone, and the shoe sits lower on the foot than the original Spizike pattern. Nike Air cushioning has been part of this line from the second model onward and the platform sits within it.
