Adidas Forum 84 Low White Snakeskin

Released on 24 October 2023 and part of adidas's Forum line. This release has a leather upper in Cloud White/Orbit Grey/Off White. The Forum 84 is the eighties basketball shoe in its original proportions, big through the toe, padded at the collar and defined by the strap across the ankle that started as a support solution and became the silhouette's signature. The low cut version keeps the strap and loses the height, which is the format most people actually wear. This one is finished in white with snakeskin texturing, so a shoe designed for a hardwood court is wearing a material associated with luxury goods. That contrast is the entire proposition: keep the bulky, unsubtle basketball outline and change what it is made of until it reads as something else.
