Nike Air Max Dn8 Black Volt

Released on 6 March 2025 and part of Nike's Air Max DN8 line. This release has a mesh upper in Black/Volt/Light Smoke Grey. In 1987 Nike released the Air Max and did something no shoe company had done: it cut a window into the midsole so you could see the cushioning. Nike Air is a pressurised gas unit sealed in the foam, and making it visible turned an engineering solution into a design language that has driven the line ever since. The Air Max DN8 is the current end of that argument, pushing the visible unit further under the foot so that more of the shoe is air and less of it is foam. Black Volt is the sharpest way to buy it: a blacked out upper with Nike's acid yellow green used as the single signal colour.
