Adidas Stan Smith Bape Abc Camo

Designed by Horst Dassler and released on 10 February 2024 as part of the Stan Smith line. This release has a leather upper in Cloud White/Cloud White/Off White. The Stan Smith is one of the two shoes that turned adidas into everyday clothing rather than sports equipment, and putting BAPE's ABC camo on it is a collision of two very different kinds of ubiquity. One is a plain white tennis shoe that became a default across Europe. The other is a camouflage pattern that became shorthand for a whole era of Japanese streetwear. adidas has been running partnerships like this longer than anyone, having effectively invented the designer sneaker collaboration, and the Stan Smith works as a canvas precisely because it has so little going on underneath the print.
