Adidas Adilette Slides

Part of the Adilette line. This release has the Running White/Sub Green/Running White colourway. The Adilette is the original adidas slide and one of the longest running products the company makes, a single strap over a moulded footbed built for pool decks and locker rooms. It survives because it solves a problem completely: you need something you can step into with wet feet, that does not absorb water, and that you can leave by a door. The Three Stripes on the strap are the only branding and the only decoration, which is the purest expression of a mark adidas bought from Karhu Sports in 1952 and turned into the company's entire visual identity. Every slide made since, by anyone, is arguing with this shape rather than replacing it.
