Air Jordan 1 Low Vivid Orange

Designed by Peter Moore and part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a nubuck upper in Black/Vivid Orange/Light Graphite/Cardinal Red/White. Vivid Orange is the Air Jordan 1 turned all the way up. The line has always used colour as argument rather than decoration, going back to a period when the NBA's uniform policy demanded shoes be at least 51 percent white and Nike simply paid the 5,000 dollar per game fine and advertised the fact. Nothing about a saturated orange Low would have been legal on court then. It is completely ordinary now, which is the measure of how far the shape travelled from Peter Moore's original brief. Cut low over a white base, the orange takes the Swoosh, toe and heel and asks for nothing else in the outfit.
