Air Jordan 4 RETRO Black Cat 2025

Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released on 28 November 2025 as part of the Air Jordan 4 line. This release has a nubuck upper in Black/Black/Light Graphite. Black Cat is the Jordan 4 with the volume removed and the engineering left in. Where most 4s use colour to separate the netting, the wings and the midsole, this one collapses everything into a single dark tone so you see the model as a shape rather than as a set of parts. That is a very Tinker Hatfield idea: the design series he shaped from the third model onward always treated the shoe's structure as the message, from the elephant print of the 3 through the carbon fibre shank plates and Kevlar reinforcement that arrived in later models. A monochrome 4 is that philosophy at its most confident, since it has nothing to hide behind.
