Released on 15 September 2022 and part of the Jordan Max Aura line. This release has a leather upper in White/University Red/Black. Jordan Brand has run as a standalone division inside Nike since 1997, with its own athletes, apparel and design language, and the Max Aura line is where that language gets translated for everyday feet rather than the archive. The Max Aura 4 does not reissue a single model. It assembles the cues you already read as Jordan, the Jumpman, the layered panel blocking, the visible Air, and sets them in white, black and university red. That trio is not a random pick. Red, black and white have functioned as brand colours since Chicago, since the first shoe reached the public on 1 April 1985, and putting them on a current performance silhouette is the point.
