The Adizero Evo SL Black White is the stealth version of the shoe that dragged race day technology down to a normal price. Its ancestor is the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1, the 134 gram, 500 dollar racer Tigist Assefa wore in Berlin when she ran 2:11:53 and took more than two minutes off the women's marathon world record. adidas kept that shape, dropped the carbon rods and the scarcity, and sent the Evo SL out at 150 dollars. Style code JP7149 is the Core Black, Cloud White, Core Black execution: black synthetic and textile upper, oversized white Three Stripes stretched across the side panels, sculpted black midsole. Where the white pair announces itself, this one just moves.
Two ways to wear the Adizero Evo SL Black White. On the road, put it under split shorts or tights for long runs, steady tempo work and easy days with short surges, exactly the range reviewers say it covers best. It is a daily trainer rather than a race day shoe, so it is what you log volume in, not what you pin a bib for. Off the road, a black upper on a black midsole makes this the easier colorway to style: black cargos or washed denim, an oversized tee, done, and it will not show a monsoon puddle the way white does. Fit is true to size in length with a roomy forefoot, so buy your usual adidas size and lace it snug through the midfoot. Wipe with a damp cloth, air dry, no machine.

Total weight lands near 224 grams in a men's US 9, and the all black midsole hides the scuffs a white one would advertise.
