New Balance 9060 Blue Beige

Released on 28 May 2025 and part of New Balance's 9060 line. This release has a suede upper in Blue/Beige. Most of the 9060 range is bought as a colour rather than as a shoe, which is a strange thing to say about a silhouette assembled from serious running heritage. The model pulls its proportions out of the 99x family, the premium line the 990 opened in 1982, and then exaggerates them until the reference is obvious but the restraint is gone. Blue Beige is one of the more considered ways to use that shape. Beige warms the larger panels and keeps the volume from reading as aggressive, while blue sits underneath as the cool structural note. Together they make the 9060 look designed rather than shouted, which is the version most people can actually wear every day.
