The Yeezy Slide arrived in 2019 as Kanye West's argument that a slide could carry an entire silhouette: one piece of moulded foam, no laces, no visible branding, nothing to read. Slate Marine dropped in August 2023 under style code ID2349 at 70 dollars retail, a full monochrome grey blue that runs darker and more wearable than the sand and bone colourways that built the shape's reputation. It landed during the stretch when adidas was releasing what remained of Yeezy inventory after the partnership ended, so there is no ongoing production standing behind it. Utility
