Adidas Gazelle 85 Semi Court Green

Released on 1 February 2023 and part of adidas's Gazelle line. This release has a suede upper in Semi Court Green/Cloud White/Core Black. The Gazelle 85 is the version of the Gazelle that leans into its older proportions, a slightly fuller, more archival cut than the modern reissue, and Semi Court Green is a colour that belongs to that era of sports shoes: a mid tone green with real depth, not a fashion mint. adidas built the Gazelle as a training shoe in the same spirit that started the company, with Adolf Dassler making event specific footwear in Herzogenaurach and refusing anything that did not serve the athlete. What survives of that intent today is the shape, and adidas Originals keeps it alive under the Trefoil, the mark designed in 1971 and launched for the 1972 Munich Olympics.
