Released on 18 July 2024 and part of adidas's Samba line. This release has a leather upper in Off White/Dark Blue/Clear Sky. Off white with dark blue is the Samba dressed down rather than dressed up. Where the standard black and white pair announces itself from the ankle, this women's cut speaks in two soft tones: an aged, creamy base and a navy that sits close enough in value that the Three Stripes read as shading until you look properly. The Samba came from indoor football, low to the ground with a suede toe overlay for ball contact, and it moved into everyday wear the way most adidas archive shoes did, through people rather than campaigns. Pair it with cropped straight leg jeans and a navy knit so the dark blue repeats up the body, or with a long cream skirt and a white shirt for something softer where the shoe grounds the outfit rather than accenting it. Both work because off white sits between white and tan and does not fight either.
