Designed by Peter Moore and released on 1 March 2025 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in White/Indigo Haze. White with a soft violet blue is the Air Jordan 1 Low at its lightest. Indigo Haze is a washed out purple that behaves almost like a grey until direct light hits it, and paired with a white body it turns Peter Moore's 1985 panel structure into something closer to a summer shoe than a basketball shoe. The Low cut matters here: at ankle height the coloured panels sit low on the foot, so the pale tone never dominates an outfit. This is the silhouette that was originally sold on red, black and white as brand colours, now running a shade that would have been unthinkable on a Bulls court. That distance is the whole appeal.
Keep everything else light and it sings. White or ecru wide leg trousers with a lilac or pale grey shirt lets the haze tone repeat once and the outfit stays calm. For contrast, put it under raw indigo denim and a white tee so the two blues sit at opposite ends of the same family. Not a rainy season shoe, and not a good pick for dusty commutes. Size true to length. Treat the leather before first wear, wipe transfer off the same day, and be careful with cleaning products on the coloured panels since strong solutions will lift a pale dye faster than a saturated one.
Pastel Air Jordans exist because the model long ago escaped the sport. This is the shoe that made sneaker collecting a mass activity, with original 1985 pairs trading around 20,000 dollars on StockX and a resale market around it valued at roughly 2 billion dollars, and the everyday effect was that the outline became universally legible. Once everyone can read the silhouette, colour becomes free. Jordan Brand's move to a standalone Nike division in 1997 gave the line the apparel and roster infrastructure to behave like a fashion house, and soft washed colourways are the clearest evidence of it.
Leather across the panels with white carrying the toe, quarter and midsole and the indigo haze placed on the Swoosh, collar and heel. The toe box keeps its perforations, so the white front of the shoe is broken up by shadow rather than sitting as a flat block. Foam midsole over a rubber outsole below. The honest warning on a makeup like this is upkeep: white leather plus a pale wash colour is the least forgiving combination in the whole Air Jordan palette, and both panels stain from the same things, dark denim transfer and road dust. Protect before first wear and clean weekly rather than waiting for a deep clean.
