Air Jordan 1 Mid Sonics

Designed by Peter Moore and released on 9 June 2022 as part of the Air Jordan 1 line. This release has a leather upper in Noble Green/White/Pollen. Sonics is the nickname collectors attached to this green and gold pairing, not an official designation, and that is worth knowing because a large part of how Air Jordan colourways travel is through names the community invents. The Mid is the cut that carries most of those experiments, since it keeps Peter Moore's original panel layout in constant production without the release day scarcity of the Retro High OG. Green and gold on a 1 is a palette with no connection to the red, black and white the brand is built on, which is precisely why it stands out on a shelf full of them and why people bothered giving it a name.
