After wet outings, wipe the upper, remove the insole and air dry slowly indoors, since heat damages membranes. Hoka's trail line carries authority earned at the extreme end of the sport. The outsole pattern is spaced for mixed surfaces rather than deep mud. Midnight Blue and Grout are the right tones for winter use, since neither shows the mess.
